An exceptional event at the Pinacothèque de Paris. The capital’s new impressive exhibition area is staging this major exhibition that invites us to [re]discover a fascinating and vitally important period in the history of humanity through masterpieces of Asian art.
True archaeological treasures, the buried legions of the Emperor Qin (known as the Warriors of Xi’an) will be on display for the first time in Paris until 14 September 2008.
These outstanding terracotta objects – a representation of guards armed with the mausoleum of the first Emperor of unified China - are privileged witnesses of the military omnipotence of this ruler, considered to be the founder of China.
The Pinacothèque invites us to enjoy these remarkable representations with 120 pieces centred exclusively on life during the Qin Dynasty. An experience not to be missed!
